Our kennel was born from a lifelong love of dogs and more than fifteen years of dedicated experience with poodles. For us, the poodle is not just a breed – it is our dream breed.
Who we are and why we chose poodles
We have been living with dogs for most of our lives, and for over 15 years we have been working specifically with poodles. Over time, no other breed has come close to what the poodle offers in intelligence, emotional awareness and human connection.
Poodles are extraordinary dogs. They are highly intelligent, deeply sensitive and incredibly attuned to human emotions. Many people describe them as almost reading thoughts – and we understand why. Within minutes, a poodle can lift sadness, dissolve tension and bring calm and joy back into a space. This is why they make outstanding therapy dogs and lifelong companions.
Their elegance, versatility and emotional depth made the choice clear for us: the giantpoodle was the breed we wanted to dedicate our lives to.odle is not a separate breed or size classification, but rather a distinctive variation within the standard poodle.
Why giantpoodles and royal poodles?
The giantpoodle, also known as the standard poodle, represents strength, grace and balance in perfect harmony. Their size gives them presence, while their temperament remains gentle, loyal and deeply people-oriented.
Within the world of giantpoodles, our journey naturally led us to royal poodles. Royal poodles are not a separate breed, but a rare and exceptional variation within the standard poodle, often slightly taller than average, frequently exceeding 60 cm at the withers.
What truly sets royal poodles apart, however, is their breathtaking tuxedo-style pattern. This elegant and rare marking captured our hearts instantly and changed the direction of our breeding program forever.
Why particolor and genetic diversity matter to us
We have always been drawn to uniqueness, natural beauty and genetic diversity. For this reason, we chose not to follow highly selective solid-color breeding lines, but instead dedicated ourselves to particolor poodles.
Particolor poodles represent diversity, individuality and healthy genetic variation. Each puppy is unique, carrying its own combination of color, pattern and expression. For us, this diversity is not only visually stunning, but also vital for long-term breed health.
The royal pattern – our greatest inspiration
The royal pattern entered our lives a few years ago and quickly became the most beautiful poodle pattern we had ever encountered. While royal markings are extremely rare in giantpoodles, most kennels that still work with this pattern focus almost exclusively on red and white combinations.
At Curly&Lovely Particolor Poodle Kennel, we chose a different path.
We are proud to work with royal poodles in a wide variety of colors, including black and white, brown and white, black isabel and white, brown sable and white, shaded sable and white, black phantom and white, brown phantom and white, and more. This variety reflects our commitment to preserving both beauty and genetic richness within the breed.
Our philosophy as a royal poodle kennel
We believe that responsible breeding begins with love, knowledge and respect for the dog as an individual. Our royal poodle puppies are raised in a family environment, surrounded by daily life, human interaction and careful early socialization.
We focus on health, structure, temperament and emotional stability just as much as on color and pattern. Our goal is not to produce puppies in quantity, but to raise exceptional giantpoodles that enrich their families’ lives for many years to come.
